1982
It all began with a small textile manufacturing plant in Malaysia known as Gimmill Industrial (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia.

1990
With the incorporation of Ramatex Textiles Industrial Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia, Ramatex Group became truly vertical, controlling the whole manufacturing process from spinning to garment export.

1996
Ramatex Group is officially listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (formerly known as Malaysia Securities Exchange Berhad).

1997
Ramatex Groups's made its first outreach in Asia with the incorporation of Ramatex Industrial (Suzhou) Ltd in China.

2001
Affirming the drive to be a global textiles player, Ramatex Apparel (Suzhou) Ltd was incorporated in China, followed by the incorporation of Ramatex Textiles Namibia (Proprietary) Limited and acquisition of Lichen Apparel Namibia (Proprietary) Limited in Namibia.

2002
To further expand in Namibia, Flamingo Garments (Proprietary) Limited in Namibia was acquired.

2003
RB (Labuan) Ltd was incorporated as a subsidiary followed by incorporation of Ramatex Printing Garment (Suzhou) Ltd.

To further extend our reach globally, June Textiles Co., Ltd. in Cambodia and Sentosa Enterprises Limited in Mauritius were acquired.

2004
Further expansion with the incorporation of Violet Apparel (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. in Cambodia and 3 garment factories in China; Cherry (Suzhou) Garment Ltd., Kiwi (Suzhou) Garment Ltd. and Lemon (Suzhou) Garment Ltd.
